What these men don't know about operation market garden, probably isn't worth knowing. We were walking down what seemed to be a random street when all of a sudden we're launched into a story complete with pictures showing the contrast between past and present. Sander's ability to tell individual soldiers stories and their impact on the battle is truly unparalleled. It was an amazing weekend, one that I would happily do again in the future.

Second time with this company. The passion they bring at the tour is one of a kind. They know the famous stories but also the not so famous one. They show you the battlefield, they walk you to the bunkers, show the places were people had to walk. They give a face to the fallen soldiers. They take time at every point. They answer your questions and go beyond that. If I ever go on this kind of tour it will be with this company.

I had a tour around Operation Market Garden in The Netherlands. They do not tell just "X happened here", they go into the details, including photo so you can compare the photo to the actual live location, which is a nice touch. They definitely know their history and tell their stories and history in such an unique way that it even draws in people who are also visting the site and who will listen to it as well. The most unique part is that they also tell stories about individuals. What their story was, what happened to them even including photos or using actual objects on site and afterwards you visit the grave of this individual in order to honor them which leaves quite the impact. Thank you for giving the tour and the unforgettable experience and would definitely recommend a tour.

Just had a fantastic weekend with SanderVK Tours exploring the Arnhem and Market Garden battlefields. Shaun and Sander were brilliant — knowledgeable, passionate, and great company throughout. Running the Crossroads like in Band of Brothers was a surreal moment, and seeing the battle sites matched with then-and-now photos made the history really hit home. From the John Frost Bridge to the Oosterbeek perimeter, every stop was brought to life with detail and stories that made you feel connected to the events. Couldn’t recommend it more a must for anyone interested in WWII. Thanks both for an unforgettable experience.

Sander provides a compelling and emotive narrative, often telling the stories of individual soldiers and their heroism, as part of his Operation Market Garden Tour. Every spot visited had a unique story told, bringing to life a conflict that took place more than 80 years ago. The delivery was both enthusiastic and deeply knowledgeable, where he not only captivated those of us on the tour directly but many a passer-by too. It was a truly inspiring and well delivered occasion. I would whole heartedly recommend Sandervk tours and look forward to a return visit in the future.

The past three days I followed an impressive Battlefield Tour in the area of the Belgian Ypres, with OTCRij Opleidings & trainingcentrum Rijden en Bergen and organized by SandervkTours. The First World War remains a conflict that we know far too little about, while it was so decisive for the world as we know it today. At the same time it is painfully clear how little we have really learned from it. This tour is not only educational but truly moving. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a deeper understanding of WWI and its lasting significance.
